Insider Q&A: Artificial intelligence and cybersecurity in military tech

Josh Lospinoso’s first cybersecurity startup was acquired by Raytheon/Forcepoint. His second just announced a partnership with JetBlue Airways. A 36-year-old West Point grad and Rhodes Scholar, the former Army captain spent more than a decade making offensive hacking tools for the U.S. military and National Security Agency. The CEO/programmer recently testified before Congress on how artificial intelligence can be wielded to improve the nation's defense. Lospinoso spoke with The Associated Press about AI and software vulnerabilities in weapons systems, which he considers a major threat.
